Four days in Joensuu

Mari's house and summer cottage in East Finland Two weeks ago Antonio, Vera, Mari and me went to Joensuu. We left Jyväskylä on Thursday afternoon after eat at the university. We went with Teemu in his car because his family lives in Joensuu. We did some stops in the trip, the most important in Panda chocolate factory and in one service route.

Mari's family live in a farm about 30 minutes by car from Joensuu. In my opinion is a typical finnish farm, they have a lake, sauna, forest, goats, lots of vegetables, all types of berries........ is really nice.

We slept in the siummer cottage, cute place, not far away from the main house. Sometimes we went there rowing, walking at night with flashlights or just in car (2 minutes).

Mari' mother is a great cook, she does home made cheese, cakes, yogurt.....

The weather was quite terrible, without sun and some rain everyday, also snow the day we left Joensuu in the morning. First time I saw it here in Finland. It was necessary wear boots.
Vera did a nice friend in Mari's.
I have to say again thanks to Mari, she is one of the greatest persons I have met in my life. It was really nice time there, everything was more than great.
We swam in the lake some days in sauna time, about four degrees!!! And of course we row n the morning and at night.
The last night Antonio made special Sangria for all of us, I helped him because finally he is not typical spanish!!!

Antonio....te estás pasando. Paeces un finlandés de toa la vida, no te falta más que el trineo y los renos. Por las fotos ese es un
lugar maravilloso y veo que te has integrado perfectamente. Habrá que ir a verte.
