Stockholm's trip part 2

24 of October, in the morning

Like I wrote in the previous post we left the ferry early in the morning and walked to the city center, exactly to the old town. Stockholm's old town is even smaller than Tallin medieval city, that means a tourist has the chance to do a quick sightseeing.

Church

In my opinion if I would have to choose among Tallin, Helsinki and Stockholm, always talking about the architecture, buildings and surroundings, I would choose the swedish capital.

View from the palace square.

It's full of monuments, great places to visit, museums, towers, important buildings..... The architecture, colours, streets, everything make you feel happy. Of course is also richer town than Tallin and that is one of the reasons, maybe the most important, due to it looks like better.

Canyon

We started walking along several streets, surrounding the King's palace. Nice streets, made by stone, some of them specially narrow and pretty.

Church and Square.

The palace is the in highest point of the old town. Close to it is located the most important church, great decoration inside, some nice buildings and two squares. The area uses to be full of visitors, and you can see the sea from there.

Street.

The situation of Stockholm is quite interesting. By ferry we started to see the earth and islands like 3 hours before to arrive. It is in the middle of the bay, but looks like a channel, and the old town is a small island sorrounded by the sea, but it is like one of the Sena's islands in Paris.

Statue connected with knight and dragon legend.

After see the palace and one museum about world money history, we went on walking down the Autumn sun. We were looking for a sunny place to eat and we found nice one near some special buildings, swedish flags and statues.

Sunny street

After eat we continued visiting the town, but we took the townhall direction, which is in the other side of the bay.
