Lapland Trip 1st & 2nd Day

Long journey to LEVIWe started our tip on Monday morning taking the train from Helsinki at 10:30 to Kajaani, city situated in the middle of Finland. We arrived at 18:30 and Mari and her cousin picked us up.
We stoped the car several times to drink tea or coffee, Can you guess why?
We went to "sleep" at Mari's cousin flat. At the end we were awake during the whole night, talking and waiting for the long journey that we suffered on Tuesday.

Woke up at 5 AM, Mari drove the car first to Oulu, to pick up Raul, and then to LEVI. We took the longest road, close to the swedish border. The reason, because Mari wanted to buy special things in Sweden.

The journey was quite hard for Mari, due to the weather and tiredness. Finally we arrived to Levi at 4 PM and we looked for the cottage 30 minutes. The cottage was great!!

The cottage was for ten persons, two bedrooms and two "places to sleep" beside the wooden roof.

It was completely furnished, with all the necessary stuff, microwave, dishwasher, TV, stereo....... And of course traditional finnish sauna.

We were there 10 students: Mari, Manja, Laura, Fabian, Ian, Olli, Raul, David, Xavi and Miguel.

We planned things for Wednesday, about go to ski, the prices, tourist information point and so on. Then we heated the sauna, had dinner and some of us made a Glögi party.
